The Quote Information Gathering Process

Emails can convey the initial quote information. Texting or calling is often the preferred method of imparting information.

Distance will factor into the initial quote process and whether CCCofSWFL will entertain taking on the project.
The project’s size will also factor into whether CCCofSWFL artisans will take on the project.

Please Note:
  • CCCofSWFL is a quality results company, as you can see in the great many galleries of CCCofSWFL completed projects.
  • CCCofSWFL IS NOT a “Handyman” company.

Client Provides Information without an Initial Project Investigation Visit to the Proposed Site.

Depending on the requester’s ability, they can sometimes supply enough information for a quote without a CCCofSWFL  representative needing to visit the prospective project site to gather the necessary information. Services like MMEDIA WALLS, COFFER CEILINGS, FAUX BEAMS, FLOORING, and other items where the required information is sometimes relatively easy to relay fit this option. This is an especially attractive option when the proposed project address is quite distant from the CCCofSWFL home base of operations in North Fort Myers. An initial visit to a prospective project address can cost an hour or more in driving time each way, consuming an entire day for this “FREE QUOTE” that is by no means free for CCCofSWFL to provide.

A CCCofSWFL Representative Visits the Project Site for Initial Information Gathering.

OR….. CCCofSWFL can go to the prospective project site to gather the necessary information.  For many projects that CCCofSWFL has completed or may undertake, the company must investigate on-site conditions and view existing project attributes to develop a quote CCCofSWFL can stand by.

The Initial Information Needed for a Quote Request:

Click the Photos Below for the Example:

The most needed wall photo is an entire photo of the object wall showing the entire wall face :
  • From floor to ceiling showing some of the floor and some of the ceiling.
  • The photo must show the wall from the left wall to the right wall, including ALL ATTRIBUTES like windows, doors, trims, vents, switch locations, etc. This single image must capture some of the wall to the left of the object wall and some of the wall to the right of that object wall.
Please note: It does not need to be a single image of exactly what the end result is to be. There can be many different pictures of different attributes the client may wish incorporated into the project’s finished results.

Examples: a picture of shelving in the media wall, a picture of the surfacing materials to use on the media wall, the desired shape of the media wall, the paint color(s) to use, whether there is a painted or stained finish on attributes, etc….

Each photo image sent of an attribute to incorporate must be sent individually with a written explanation of what that single photo conveys.

Note : Do not send multiple photos with one long blurb expecting the CCCofSWFL designer / estimator to guess which wording in the blurb corresponds to which photo.

NOTE :

  • The client’s preconceived project price is not mandatory. However, this quickly brings up the project cost factor if CCCofSWFL has information that the prospective client lacked when setting their initial price expectation.
  • Accepting the lowest price for a project has a 95% chance of resulting in disaster. CCCofSWFL is committed to providing a quality outcome that a large percentage of others are not quality-minded or experienced enough to produce. We apologize ahead of time if our appropriate pricing for our artisan services is beyond your budget. We refuse to deliver a project that isn’t finished to the quality level CCCofSWFL is committed to producing. This includes the floor protection used when completing each home beautification upgrade project.
